my baby boy is 3 months old and his weight is 4.5 kgs.. His birth weight is2.5 kgs.. I'm very worried about his weight.. what is the ideal weight for his age?? how can I improve it?

A. Dear mum, weight of 4.5 kg is absolutely normal for 3 months old baby. Your baby has gained 2 kg in 3 months, which is perfectly fine. For healthy weight gain and growth exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hind milk which will help in weight gain.

A. My baby weight at 3 month 4.5 kg and birth weight 3 kg after that she lost weight 2.7 kg so it’s normal ??

A. hi, babies weight gain depends on their birth weight usually babies gain 500 grams per month. your child weighs normal. so, don't worry. keep Breastfeeding your child as per his or her needs. feed your child on each breast atleast 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk which helps to increase your child's weight. give massage to your child daily maintain good hygiene.
