my baby boy 9days old. total bilirubin is 15.5. breast feeding is continuing. it this normal

A. Normal is about 5 to 5.5 this is on the higher side I would recommend you to get a check with your doctor in go ahead with putting your child into phototherapy a minimum of 24 hours definitely import further more is needed the doctor would advise you accordingly
