my baby boy 10 months his weight 8.3kgs which syrup is best for cold and cough...his suffer a lot

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cougth needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever isgi there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and medicine should be given after the doctor prescription and evaluation and also baby weight should be thrice the birth weight in one years .
Give baby indirect steam twice a day and apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest too.
