Q.

My 6 months baby is not taking bottle feeding. She is chewing the bottle Nipple but she is not knowing to take the milk. Please suggest or advice how I can make her to drink from bottle.

A. .  first feed with spoon  make her habitual to bottle by giving expressed breast milk . use bottle only if absolutely necessary   try breastfeeding her for a few minutes then shift to bottle in the middle of the feeding. or offer bottle when hungry and sleepy. check if bottle nipple, flow rate is suitable .

A. Find the right bottle and nipples first. That's most important. Ask someone at home to bottle feed baby. Get a slow flow nipple intilaly. Try to keep the teets near your nipples so baby would think it's your breast. Put some breastmilk on the nipples. Breastfeed a little and slowly insert bottle. Feed on demand.
