Q.
My 2 months old baby feeds every 3 to 4 hours during the day.At night she sleeps for 5 hours at a stretch.is that ok or should I wake her up forcibly before that to feed.The routine of 2 hours I am unable to follow as the baby doesn't eat then.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, let your baby sleep at stretch. You need not wake up for feeding forcibly. Feed as per your baby’s demand. If baby is active, alert and passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then feeding is sufficient.

it is ok
it will change with Time.
if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day,no need to worry about it ,no need to wake up your child.
