Q.

My 16 month old baby boy, is rubbing eyes and has yellow discharge, and redish eyes....the baby is crying....we consulted doctor, and he recommended oflocxin eye drops and an ointment....but once we put once oflocxin in his eyes...right eye got more redish and little swollen from outside.....what is the reason? what should we do now?

A. Stop putting this medicine I think it is not suiting the eyes of your child clean the eyes with cold water and consult your doctor again go for an eye specialist this time and export in Dehradun or go for a paediatrician please

A. I'm no expert in this but my baby got same eye problem And my dr suggested me to give massage with the little finger starting from the corner of the eye till the end of the nose with the ointment. It might be due to tear duct blockage nothing to worry about it goes away in a while after proper massage.
