My 11-month-old baby has been having fever and cough for the past 5 days. We consulted a doctor and completed all the recommended tests, but fortunately, all the test results were negative. The doctor prescribed cough syrup, paracetamol, antibiotics, and some other medicines. However, the fever and cough are still continuing, so I would like to know if any further evaluation or treatment is needed.

See sometimes due to allergic reaction also the cough could be continuous it could be associated with the dust or the food that the child is having and we were usually associated with so if you want you can get a blood test which will give you a very clear picture about the reason behind the fever now what all test you have done that’s not clearly stated so you can confirm with the Dr of any other would be required
