my 1.6 years child have cold more than one week. please tell me the solution sir

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a hhproper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to redfuce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

It Could possibly be a seasonal allergy that your child may be going Thru you should consult a doctor and get medicine done for Alan a basic antiallergic is going to be helpful as of now but you should go ahead with an allergy test as well and treatment for the same
