Q.

#Motherhood#AskTheExpert Ma'am I have been advised C-section as I have a fibroid near cervico-uterine junction posteriorly. Size is 4*7 cm. Doctor says chances are bleak that my cervix will dilate due to this hence I must go for c-section. What is your take ma'am?

A. If it is really at the junction of the cervix and uterus then it is definitely high risk because the cervix should dilate when the labor pains start and if it doesn’t dilate will be harmful for your cervix . You can take second opinion along with your report alsoWrite Your Answer Here
