This phenomenon, known as nocturnal lagophthalmos, often occurs due to immature eyelid control. That’s very normal with kids so once you say that your child is in sleep or in deep sleep just put your hand and just close the eyelets properly this is a very common thing to be seen there is no scientific reasoning or problem behind it it’s a very natural behaviour of kids
