Mam, my daughter is five years old she has taken vaccine for cat bite 4dose 2month back. Now JE vaccine giving at their school is there any problem taking this vaccine after the above vaccine. Please suggest me mam

Author of questionMom of 2 children2 years agoA. In our district in all school government conducting JE vaccination campaigns all students advised to take. My dout is there problems if taking after cat bite 4 dose vaccine. After 2 months gap.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. japanese encephalitis is a disease which is very common in eastern and central india as well as half of eastern part of south india.
this disease is slowly spreading throughout india.
you have to contact your local pediatrician who will tell you whether this diseasde is endemic in your state or not.
so if it is endemic it is advisable to go for this vaccine and if it is not endemic you can keep it as an optional vaccine
