Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatigc treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucoufs high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

The common perception among dentists is that teething in babies and children may be accompanied by increased drooling, a slight rise in temperature, and perhaps increased irritability, but these symptoms are relatively minor. Teething and diarrhea are not usually associated.
