Is painless vaccine good for babies? What is the difference between painless and painfull vaccine?

Hi and good morning painless vaccination contains acellular components of Pertussis which causes lesser side effects compared to painful vaccine Both are effective though IAP prefers use of painful vaccine for primary series of immunization but the chances of side effects are less with painless ones consult Paediatrician

As the name suggests painless vaccinations are not painful for the baby. Cost wise painless vaccinations are higher when compared to painful. Continue breastfeeding your baby. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
