is it safe to use steel straw for 1 year old

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy7 months agoA. Hai good morning !! In assistance with mother, elders steel sipper is ok but dont leave baby alone with sipper as they might keep inside the mouth.
Always you help baby to feed and dont leave the straw with baby or dont entertain self feed ,if you are thinking to use steel straw otherwise go for bpa free material sipper cups or sipper bottles.
As they have only 2-6 teeth sipper might hurt baby gums.
Sterilise well the sipper /straw after every use .
