#AskTheExpert Is Desonide Cream (Desowen) safe to be applied on a 7 months old baby's face . My baby has been having rashes on her face for about 2 weeks now , we went to both pedeatreic and dermatologist , both of them said that it's probably just cold or dust or clothe allergy . the dermatologist however added that it could be from genes since both her dad and I have allergies to certain foods and seasonal change . The dematologist prescribed this cream and a few others . I am concerned about this cream as it has steroid content and I am told that steroids are considered unsafe (and has side effects) . What would be your advice ,sir.
