Q.

Influenza vaccine is due for 13 months age child. Influenza vaccine will be changed every year before winter season ? If yes, should we give vaccine now OR wait for new vaccine ?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 13 months old and if you want to give him an influenzas vaccination now then you can give it as there are uncountable viruses causing flue like symptoms and influenza vaccinations is related to common flues viruses so you have to give it one dose every year upto 5/7 years at least

Some children 6 months through 8 years of age may need 2 doses for best protection. CDC recommends a flu vaccine by the end of October, before flu begins spreading in your community.
