Q.

Iam a mother of a five months old baby.I had a normal delivery.I was doing kegel exercises after six weeks of delivery.Due to my busy in household works I skipped the exercises since 2 months.Now iam not able to do it effectively.I tried to do the exercises.But iam not able to hold the muscles.What can I do?How long will I have to continue this exercise?How much times a day?

A. Hi dear good afternoon You can continue but slowly. If your body is fit, then Waking is a good way to shed some weight. 20 mins of walk can help you alot. Try to do yoga like suryanamaskar, pranayma these are highly beneficial. Also follow good diet. For breakfast have fruits. Oats, ragi, kellogs for lunch have millets instead of rice. Or Have less rice and more veggies. For dinner have roti, fruits. Mainly try to Avoid white foods like white rice white bread maida.. Have a balanced and healthy diet.
