iam 5 weeks pregnant now and my Dr. has prescribed Fertigyn 5000IU. Please advise if it is safe because in most links it is mentioned that it is not prescribed during pregnancy.

A. It is definitely prescribed during pregnancy and it is nothing but human chorionic gonadotrphin injection. It helps in giving extra support to your pregnancy because in the first 12 weeks it is this hormone which helps in sustaining the pregnancy
