Q.
I m 35weeks 4 days pregnant.. And today in Sonography report the fetal weight came out to be 2.4kg is it normal weight or the baby is under weight??

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Hello dear Although the weight is a bit on the lower side ,even upto 37 weeks the baby keeps gaining weight faster. Plus there will be an error of +/- 300 gm in the scan. Keep taking high protein diet regularly

It’s A good weight and you still have four weeks to go for maybe the way it is going to increase over the period but in general I can say about 2.5 KG at this time is a very decent and healthy weight and even if it is the same at the time of birth then also it is fine
