Q.

I have my son who is 2 month old and we are feeding him milk formula nan pro 1 and as you know nan pro 1 is bit costly and that is the reason I am looking for other milk formula brand which is much cheaper than this. It would be great if you can suggest any other cheapest milk formula substitute which should have same content.

A. Formula milks are a bit expensive but you can try giving lactogen which is of the same brand nestle. But try consulting with your paediatrician once before switching the milk. Also if you have low milk supply then To increase milk, add papaya, flax seeds, cumin seeds, ajwain into your diet. Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated. The more the baby latches the more you produce milk. Keep a check on the baby's pee count, if it is more than 6 times a day then nothing to worry, it's a clear sign that the baby is getting enough milk. But if you still feel that your milk supply is low then consult with a lactation consultant
