i have mild cough and cold also little headach, my gynaecologist prescribed me febrex plus during pregnancy, can i take same medicine if i breastfeed 3 months baby

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. yes dear you can take febrex plus thrice a day for three days. use saline nasal drops six hrly for baby and also apply noble cold ointment over baby clothes and bedding sets.. give only breastmilk to the child to protect from viral infection

Nihita mittalMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy5 years agoA. good evening definitely if it was prescribed to you by your gynecologist at the time when you were pregnant you can still have it if you are a lactating mother but I would recommend that you should immediately start home remedies
