Q.
I had c section 2 n half months back but i still feel the pain on the stomach section above stitches. I was told by doctor that pain will be there for 3-4 months, Is it normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that post cesarean section there will be pain at the incision site or around it for at least 2 to 3 weeks and sometimes 4 weeks.
but if there is sudden increasing pain then you will have to rule out local infection which might be present at the incision site. it is advisable txo meet the doctor and apply any local antibacterial cream if there is any discharge from the incision site.
you can take tablet paracetamol 650 mg for pain has well haxs fever.
