Q.

I bought woodwards gripe water. When bought it was plain water color but after a month its color changed to slightly yellowish. Its expiry date is dec 2018. I m not getting why color changed. is it still safe or what?

A. it contains sodium bicarbonate...so harmful for baby... use colic ease or Mother Sparsh gripe water...both r free from sodium bicarbonate

A. hello, Gripewater is given by many moms esplcy if their babies are colicky. But doctors are againnst it as it is supposed to contain natural steroids making babies dozy and helps to calm them down .

A. Gripe water, Janam ghutti, bonison etc are not suggested to babies at all... As it contain few ingredients which are of alcoholic nature and other things .. Which are harmful for babies... Even though the company's now claim that the side effects are taken care of.. But still then better to be safe than sorry.. Also the pediatrician now a days strictly prohibited the uses of gripe water.. So refrain from using it
