Q.
I am mother of 3 months old baby boy. My concern is that yesterday I saw small bright red rectal prolapse from my baby during pooing . It is seen at the end of pooing with projectile stool. I am worried about rectal prolapse. Is it a matter of concern? how can I strengthen my baby's perineum?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. .Pediatrician should examine the baby and if require any test can be done and after that only medicine shoukd be given . No any self medication should be given to baby .
