Hi dr, Is rectal prolapse needs surgery.my baby is 15 months old ,n she has rectal prolapse while pooping

socy diasMom of 2 children3 weeks agoA. doctors do confuse ..sometimes experiene n shared ans is all we need ...hi my girl is 5 yr old has rectal prolapse all doc say surgery but some ppl say it will resolve as the child grows so any1 with this can share with us

Surgery would be needed or not that your doctor only can confirm after examining the situation we actually cannot advise you whether should be getting a surgery done or not in case of confusion you can actually check with another doctor with all the reports needed to have an assurance on the situation and treatment
