Q.

I am a breast feeding mother of 20 days old baby girl. had been to doc yesterday as I had a pain near vagina. yesterday urine routine was done and pus cells was 20-25. doc said it's cos pus cells, there is an infection and given IV antibiotics for 5 days and disodium hydrogen syrup. wanted to know is it ok take injection and syrup. ? and does this affect my breast feeding baby ??

A. it's best to ensure with prescribing doctor about safety of drugs during breastfeeding. if safe go ahead

A. as you visited your doctor you talk to you would have prescribed you medicine as per the requirement of yours and also that won't affect your baby so you can breastfeed your baby
