Q.
I am 34 weeks pregnant and as per scan my baby's weight is 1.6kg according to my doctor the weight was suppose to be 1.8kg if i am 34 weeks pregnant and i dont think its a big deal there's a little difference between 1.6 and 1.8kgs but doctor says because of this this 0.2 kg less weight she will induce me by 37th week and deliver the baby before my natural labour pain begins so what am i suppose to do let doctr induce me at 37th week or wait for natural pains coz rest all is fine by god's grace except 0.2kg less weight

JyothsnaMom of a 6 yr 4 m old boy5 years agoA. Hi. I was in same position as you. Placental insufficiency. I pushed the delivery to 38 weeks and baby was 2 kg. I suggest. if baby is increasing little bit weight also each week in your scans. And Doppler scan is good and is in lower range. Your amniotic fluid is above 8 all the time. Try to push your delivery to 38weeks+ . Insist with your doctor . You should be confident and calm. BP should be good. 37 weeks is also good, Don't worry. My baby gained good weight once it was breastfed.

Alekhya 0Guardian of 0 children5 years agoA. My ultrasound today said that the baby weight is 1.83kgs at 34 weeks. And the doctor said it is too less and the min weight should be around 2.1-2.25 kgs. So she said I had a small baby. For that she suggested weekly consultation and changed my diet plan hoping it brings in some change. And after two weeks I have another scan scheduled. If the condition is still the same after making changes, she might induce pains after completing 37weeks and deliver the baby. As the baby will be full term by then and there are chances that baby might gain weight with feeding.
