ExpertRamya RamachandranNutritionist7 years agoA. Dear ma'am, do not directly heat the refrigerated expressed breast milk. Heat water in a big bowl, turn off the stove and remove the bowl and place the expressed breast milk container in the bowl containing hot water and gently thaw it.

Can thaw the milk put it in a double boiler and warm it and give it to the baby discard the remaining milk and avoid giving it to the baby give fresh milk everytime to the baby. Store bm in clean glass bottles and give can store for 4 to 5 hours at room temperature or for 24 hrs if refrigerated
