how to find out chest retractions and normal breath during cold and nose block

A. hi parent one can diagnose it with stethoscope only. keep a bowl of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning but not under cloudy sky use simply purified water having tds higher than 350
