ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. hello annaprashan sansakaar should be done after completion of six months. exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for first six months after birth. you can do this ceremony by giving something to eat for the first time like wheat or rice porridge . avoid making it too sweet..just half a spoon of sugar in half small bowl will be sufficient

The Annaprasana (Rice Ceremony) Should do at Baby's mother's family home and the first rice ceremony mostly do by mother's father or mother's brother (Menamama) For Annaprasana required Ingredients: 1.Curd 2.Honey 3.Rice 4.Ghee the four ingredients should mix together and put in a gold bowl which having with silver spoon or ring for serve rice to baby/ Silver bowl which having Gold Spoon or Gold ring for serve rice to baby...
