No need to apply anything before diaper Just give diaper free time you can use diaper /pamper of any good quality brand(Pampers, Huggies, Mamypoko, Cuddles), but not for the whole day. give diaper free time frequently in a day, if possible use cotton diaper, it will help to decrease diaper rash if any. Always check every 2 to 3 hourly for urine and motion and change immediately once baby pass urine or motion(can keep it for maximum 8 hrs if not soaked).

Nihita mittalMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy6 years agoA. I would recommend you to give diaper free time to the baby about 3 hours throughout the day minimum apart from that you should apply propyderm rash cream that would be good enough to prevent rash
