hii sir my baby is suffering from cough and cold. he became ill again and again from last 5 month. what should I do??

A. sorry to disturb you but now is fine not having any kind of fever he has cough but he is not eating anything even his milk he is only having my feed and earlier he was about 9to 10kg but now he is only 7to8kg i am very worried about him can you plz suggest something so he can start eating again his food.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also zgive maxtra drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.
