Hi.. what could be the reason for black stool in babies.does apple or beetroot causes black stool?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. there is a possibility that you must be giving either iron rich food to the child or the child might be getting iron supplements in the form of medicine or iron rich food can also lead to black coloured stool

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and it is due to iron food baby do sometimes black poop and also you should evaluate your baby once with your child doctor in person when baby do poop in black color and poop with blood.
