Weaning food can be started from 5-6 months of age and in that initially in the stage 1 you can introduce some semi solid food to the baby like Banana mango plum boiled Apple and then gradually you can start with some Puri of carrot potato other foods guwhich can be given are porridge of suji e sabudana can be prepared in breast milk or formula milk.
initially you can start with one or two tsp which can be gradually increased up till at least three meals in a day

You Wait for awhile let your child shift to complimentary food and milk apart from your breast feeding then you go ahead with a proper dieting and exercising since you are just looking forward for a proper weight loss only then you should consult a dietician for a healthy diet and exercise of your own choice would you really enjoy to do and which will not give up on doing because that’s very important to be motivated when you are working out and you are motivated when you like to do something which you really like to do
