hi sir my baby had opv drops from anganwadi volenteres but during that time she had suffering from cold , is it ok

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 21 months old and she has received opv as pulse polio from Anganwadi worker’s booth and she has a cold this is a just coincidence and not due to pulse polio campaign

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. do not worry because polio drops doesn't cause cold in small children and for cold you have to just prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops and you can also go for indirect steam inhalation

Opv has nothing to do with cold.
so. if your baby had cold at the time of taking opv it won't cause any problem to her.Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered.
Give her nutritioius diet.
