Q.
Hi, my wife is 32 week pregnant. yesterday she had a scan and gynaecologist told that amniotic fluid is just adequate at 8. what should we do for increase the amniotic fluid?? she is having gestational diabetes and was on metformin 850 bid.

Hello This condition is called as oligohydramnios wearing diamniotic so it will not be sufficient you must consult your gynecologist for proper treatment and There is no definite treatment but there are supplementary treatments and also please take lotta fluids as well as coconut water and maintain adequate hydration

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello this requires a proper medical attention and it would be better to check with your doctor and go as advised by your doctor and if required he may advise you with some medicine whicg can help your child to recover fast and and you should be careful
