Q.
hi my son is not passing stool since 4 days now..we have already consulted doctor ,they advised sopository for few days and duphalac syrup..he now complains pain in tht area and is scared to poop ..it's been 4 days without motion..please advise any further treatment.

Constipation very common at this age Change all bad food habits in babies It will help Give ur baby plenty of oral liquids, (Plain water, Fruits and fruit juices including seasonal Fruits) Give fiber rich food items in diet. Green vegetable, beans, carrots,sweet potatos will work. Avoid to give maida products like biscuits and mainly bakery products Restrict milk intake to 400-500 ml per day Do tummy massage if possible Add some stool softner or laxatives if advised by pediatrician. d
