Hi, My daughter is going her poop in green in colour that to very loosely (attached photo), she has loose motions from yesterday and we are giving her sprolac. further, she has cold as well, can you please advise what to do

A. green stool is common if baby is having cold cough if baby is on antibiotic treatment he may still get loose stools as the good bacteria of intestine are killed If baby is passing loose stools then you need to consult with your doctor for proper assessment and the necessary medications. meanwhile keep him well hydrated by giving ample amount of fluids like ORS, coconut water, buttermilk You can give a mashed banana and pureed apple Light and easy to digest home made foods like khichdi dalia ,sabudana khichdi suji upma along with curd. Can give little jaiphal or nutmeg either powdered or rubbed with water
