Q.

Hi my daughter is 6 months old. have started solid to her. she is taking hardly once or twice milk frm me. m very much concern. should I reduce her solid food? also want to know post solid feed can I give her water. if yes den how much water to be given. please help

A. Dear parent, you should continue to give solids 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Maintain adequate gap between meals and breastfeeding. Breastfeed baby on demand. You can give few sips of water in between and after meals. Breast milk and food also contain water and fulfils the hydration needs of baby.

A. hi dear thx for prompt response. bit my problem is my baby is not taking much feed. hardly 2 times a day that too just fr a while. is this normal or should I consult doc.
