Q.

Hi, My daughter is 4month old.. currently hve given her IPV 6 week vaccine..but due to vaccine she got lumps on her thighs and after a week of vaccine lumps are seen to be hard...as of now baby does not hve any pain...BMC Dr. has recommended Syp Mox and calpol for 3 days.also to apply ice on it....would like to know does Syp will help to reduce the lumps..or need to consult any other Dr.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 4 months old and she has received ipv vaccinations at 6 weeks and she has a swelling at injection site so it’s very long time so consult with paediatric surgeon

A. if baby has had a lump and even doctor has advised for some opinions of after seeing and examining the baby then better to trust the doctor and continue husband advice
