hi my child is passing loose stools 5/6 times a day she even have cold what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite .
supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hyrdration should be maintained by giving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose .
Antibiotics hads their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom. This can be due to teething. U can give enterogermina sachet for loose stool to ur baby. For cold u can give maxtra syrup.. Apply baby rub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
