A. avoid it is imperative to prioritize safety when it comes to the sleep position of infants. pediatrician strongly advises against placing infants on their stomachs as well on sides to sleep due to the increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome (sids). studies have shown that placing infants on their backs to sleep significantly reduces the likelihood of sids. this is because the back sleep position allows for better airflow and reduces the chances of the infant rebreathing their own exhaled carbon dioxide. it is also crucial to ensure that the infant's sleep environment is free of loose bedding, toys, or any other items that could pose a suffoscation hazard. by following these guidelines, caregivers can help create a safe sleep environment for infants that promotes healthy development and reduces the risk of sids.

A. hello you can slowly try to put your baby on the back after the baby is having a good sleep which would be better and safe and any concern it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly
