Q.

hi my baby is 6 month old. I have got cold and fever and I took other medications. is it okay to take other medications when I'm breastfeeding my baby? does it have any effect on my baby

A. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants my . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
