Q.

Hi my baby is 5 months old and recently had something called Epstein pearl in mouth is it something I should worry about ?

A. no Epstein pearls are whitish-yellow cysts. These form on the gums and roof of the mouth in a newborn baby they are usually self resolving and does not require any treatment if it is not causing pain to the child
