Q.

Hi, My baby is 1 year 3 month old. Last 2 days his tummy feels hot, but his temperature shows normal ( 98F to 99F).He also have cough and running nose. what should i do?

A. when you take the temperature in the armpit of the child with the help of a digital thermometer and if it is 99 f (37 c) or more then you consider it as fever or when you take the temperature in the oral cavity of the cxhild and if it is 100 degree fahrenheit then you consider it as fever and then paracetamol is given. along with paracetamol continue body sponge and keep the child ixn light clothes. paracetamol can be repeated maximum four times per day

A. Then just continue with the medicine of cough and cold and if you see the temperature touching 99°F that means your child is having fever because that’s the minimum base degrees Fahrenheit where you can term as the temperature as fever so if it is touching 99 that means fever is there
