Q.
Hi my baby is 1+ month old and is suffering from cold and cough. We using steamer also nasal saline drops as advise by doc but still he feeling difficult in sleeping and is very irritated. We can hear he making noises while breathing. Can someone please suggest what should we do?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flkiu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Put a mustard pillow under the head of the child that is going to give him an ease to breathe because the head is going to be in the elevated position and also when you make your child sleep put on a steamer into the room indirectly that steam will also going to be helpful for the child
