#asktheexperts Is having nasal congestion & 98.6 armpit temperature normal for 1 and half month old baby. We are using saline drops for cold as prescribed by doc

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine

At home you can try eucalyptus oil/vicks on a cloth near her head, or sek through ajwain potli.
Please DO NOT apply vicks vaporub on her skin directly, it can cause harm to baby's skin.
