Q.

hi my baby falldown so many time and one day (1yr 9month)and fall down and vomit and doctor perfer to take ct scan. and scan is noramal and to no other problems.. but take ct scan (1yr 9month) age radiation take any other problems in future.. plz rply mam and totally tensed

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal movement or convulsions.in such case it needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury .otherwise application of ice locally to relieve the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should bbjpke rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
