Q.
Hi, My 6.5 month old son earlier used to rub eyes when he was sleepy. but from few days he is rubbing eyes very often. what could be the reason. please suggest

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist8 years agoA. look for cold, fatigue, sleepiness ,teething , eye dryness or irritation. if eyes look red or irritation present consult paediatrician.

"Before 6 months, they rub their faces against something if they are tired or itchy,.. "After that, they might discover an ear by accident, and take comfort in pulling or rubbing it.
