Q.
hi madam... my baby is 7 months old and she suffers from cough and kapham..I'm using tulasi, karakkaya and honey with warm water..but it's not getting down..so can pl help me with any home remedy or syrup to use?? TIA

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. hi it is better not to use Honey before 1 year of age. you can take out decoction of Ginger Tulsi leaves with A Pinch of turmeric and mixed with a little jaggery and then give it to your baby as well as give indirect steam

meghali BorahMom of a 9 yr old boy6 years agoA. any medicine you have tried till now? Avoid giving honey to babies before one year. It contains a bacterium called clostridium botulinum which causes fatal botulism and it is better to not take chance even though the ratio is very less
